How promotions work on the till
Gift over an amount, combos and upsells: the till suggests, the cashier adds.
Tap the "Promotions" tab above the menu. Suggestions for promotions that fit the current cart appear under the items.
- Gift: appears when the order total reaches the threshold. Adds the gift at the promo price (0 sum is shown as "free").
- Combo: suggests adding the missing items of the set. The set price is spread across the items.
- Upsell: appears when the cart has a trigger item (for example, a dessert is suggested with coffee).
Promotions don't apply on their own. The cashier taps a suggestion, and the item is added to the cart as a separate line.
Promotions are created in the back office, see Promotions.
