How to close the shift and what's on the Z-report
Closing the register shift at the end of the day: counting the cash and the final report.
You need the "Shifts" permission.
- 1Hand over or cancel all orders in the Queue and close all table bills.
- 2Tap "More" → "Close register shift".
- 3Count the money in the drawer and enter the amount in the "Counted cash" field.
- 4Confirm.
Why the shift won't close
- "N more orders in the queue. Hand them over to close the shift": move the orders to "Ready" and hand them over, or cancel them.
- "N unpaid table bills": pay or close the table bills.
What's on the Z-report
- Revenue, number of orders, average check, tips;
- Expected: opening float + cash payments + deposits − withdrawals;
- Counted cash: what you entered;
- Difference: green if there's more money, red if there's less.
Closing the shift automatically ends the working shifts of all staff who forgot to do it. The owner gets a Telegram notification about the closing and any difference, if notifications are on.
Past shifts are in the Shifts report.
