Discounts, tips and service charge
A 5, 10 or 20% discount, tips and a service charge percentage in the payment window.
Discount
The payment window has "no discount / −5% / −10% / −20%" buttons.
- Only staff with the "Order discount" permission see them.
- Discounts are only available for a new sale at the till. There's no discount when paying a table's bill or an order from the Queue.
- Every discount is written to the activity log. If the discount amount is above the threshold in the settings, the owner gets a Telegram notification.
Tips
The "no tip / +5 / +10 / +15%" buttons. Tips appear on the Z-report as a separate line.
Service charge
If a service charge percentage is set in the location settings, the payment window has a "Service N%" / "No service charge" switch. It's on by default.
