Locking the till and switching cashiers
How to step away from the till or hand it over to a colleague.
Tap the lock icon in the top right corner. The till clears any unfinished cart and signs out of the cashier's profile. The register shift stays open.
- If you come back within 90 seconds, the till opens your PIN pad right away.
- After that you have to pick yourself from the list again. That way the till always shows who's working right now: this decides who gets credit for the sales.
There's no automatic lock after a timeout: lock the till whenever you step away.
How to change the till's language
The language switcher is on the lock screen.
