How to connect a receipt printer
A network printer by IP or a USB printer, set up on each device.
- 1Tap "More" → "Receipt printing".
- 2Pick "Network printer (by IP)" and enter the printer's IP address on your network (port 9100), or "USB printer" (Chrome and Edge, the browser will ask you to pick the device).
- 3Save and ring up a test order.
The default is "Don't print".
The setting is stored on the device itself. If you have several tills, set up the printer on each one.
When a receipt prints
Automatically after an order is paid at the till. When paying a table's bill or an order from the Queue, the receipt doesn't print by itself, but you can print it from the receipt list, see How to reprint a receipt.
What's on the receipt
Order number, items, cashier, payment method. A Qvon receipt is non-fiscal ("Sales receipt, not a fiscal document"), see Fiscal receipt.
If printing fails, the till shows "Print failed" with the reason. Check that the printer is on and on the same network.
