Moving your menu from iiko or Poster

There's no automatic import yet: what to prepare and how support helps.

Qvon has no "import from iiko" or "import from Poster" button yet. The menu moves over with help from support or by hand; it usually takes an evening.

What to prepare

  1. 1Export the list of dishes and goods with prices and categories from your old system, for example to Excel. If exporting doesn't work, screenshots or photos of the menu will do.
  2. 2If you track stock, export the ingredient list and recipes.
  3. 3Write down modifiers separately: sizes, add-ons, sauces.

How support helps

Send the files to @qvon_support_bot on Telegram and tell us your venue format. We'll help set up the menu and suggest how to lay it out across categories and stations. See How to contact support.

If you move it yourself

  1. 1Categories: Menu categories.
  2. 2Dishes and goods: How to add an item.
  3. 3Sizes and add-ons: Modifiers.
  4. 4Ingredients and recipes: Ingredients and recipes, semi-finished items: Semi-finished items.
  5. 5Opening stock is entered as a goods receipt: Receipts, write-offs and production.

The guest base and their bonuses can't be moved over automatically yet.

Tip: before day one, ring up a few test orders and check prices, stations on the kitchen display and receipt printing.
