How to open the kitchen display

The KDS (kitchen display) replaces paper tickets: the cook sees orders on a tablet and marks what's ready.

1. 1In the back office, open Settings → "Screen links" → "Kitchen (KDS)" and tap "Copy link". You can also open it with the "Kitchen (KDS)" tile on the Dashboard.
2. 2Open the link in the browser on the kitchen tablet.
3. 3Add the page to the tablet's home screen so it opens with one tap.

Is a PIN needed

A PIN is only asked for if at least one access role has the "KDS (kitchen screen)" access ticked. Otherwise the screen shows orders straight away. The cook's name is shown at the top, and tapping it locks the screen.
