A coffee shop where one person takes and makes orders: you can turn the KDS off.
If nobody in the kitchen looks at a screen, turn off "Kitchen display (KDS)" in the location Settings.
Then:
- orders get the "Ready" status right away and don't wait for a cook;
- the KDS and pickup display links disappear from the back office;
- orders can be handed over from the "Queue" on the till.
The "Coffee shop" venue type turns the KDS off automatically, see Venue type.
