How to sign in to the waiter screen
The waiter screen opens on a phone or tablet and signs in with a PIN.
The owner gets the waiter screen link in the back office: Settings → "Screen links" → "Waiter screen". Open it on your phone and add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
- 1Tap "Sign in".
- 2Pick yourself from the list.
- 3Enter your PIN.
Your first sign-in of the day marks the start of your working shift.
Buttons at the top
- Lock: lock the screen and hand the device to a colleague.
- "End my shift": finish your working day.
If you can't sign in
- "The shift hasn't been opened yet": waiters don't open the shift themselves, ask a cashier or the owner to open it on the till, see How to open a shift.
- "No tables are set up at this location": the owner needs to set up tables, see How to set up tables.
- You're not in the list: your role needs the "Waiter screen" access, and you need to be assigned to this location, see Access roles.
