Location operating modes

Settings → choose a location. The switches:

• "Tables": orders to tables, floor plan, table bills.
• "Waiter screen": a separate tables screen for waiters.
• "Kitchen display (KDS)": if it's off, orders are considered ready right away.
• "Reservations": table bookings on the till.
• "Table cleanup": a "dirty" status after guests leave.
• "Tip": tip buttons at payment.
• "Table required": an order can't be sent or paid without a table.
• "Payment before preparation": an order goes to the kitchen only after it's paid.
• "This location has its own assortment": see Different assortment.
• "Runs its own delivery": the "Delivery" order type on the till.

Modes that are off are hidden from the back office menu and the Dashboard so they don't get in the way.
