QR ordering: guests order by themselves
The guest scans a QR code, picks dishes and gives the number at the till.
How to turn it on
- 1Settings → "Screen links" → "QR ordering from the table".
- 2Tap "Download QR" and print the code: for a table, the counter or a display case.
What the guest does
- 1Scans the QR code with their phone camera. No sign-in needed, and the language can be switched.
- 2Picks dishes, sizes and add-ons, and can enter a name.
- 3Taps "Place order" and sees a big order number with the hint "Give this number at the till".
What happens at the venue
The order arrives unpaid and goes straight to the kitchen (or straight to "Ready" if the KDS is off). The guest pays at the till when collecting: find the order in the "Queue" and tap "Pay".
If the shift isn't open, the guest sees "This location is currently closed".
For now, guests still see stop-listed items in the menu. If something has run out, let the guest know when they pay.
